Nursery Rhymes Week

Hey there!
This week all of our games, activities, stories and crafts revolved around the theme of classic nursery rhymes. We talked about ones like Jack and Jill, I'm a Little Teapot, Mr. Muffin Man, Mary, Mary Quite Contrary... The kids and I had a blast! Our letter this week was "Y". Dental Health Week

Hey there!
This week was dental health week. The kids had a blast learning all about the proper way to care for their teeth, what a cavity is, what foods are good/bad for our teeth and more! They had fun creating some beautiful paintings with toothbrushes too :) One of their favorite games this week was "The Germ" - basically a dental version of tag. One kid was the germ and was trying to tag the other kids. We also played a game called "The Missing Tooth". In this game the kids (teeth) sat in a circle (the mouth) and would cover their eyes. I tapped one kid on the foot and they quietly came to the middle of the circle and were covered with a blanket. When the kids opened their eyes, they had to guess who the "missing tooth" was. They loved it!
